very surprisingly, disney managed to make a live action movie that didn't feel like a big money making, commercial blockbuster-a-thon. rather this felt really homegrown and indie, with enough slightly crappy special effects to give you the impression it was made by a little studio somewhere in the cotswolds. apart from the centaurs and wolves having american accents which was a bit weird. otherwise, really enjoyable for all the family. 7/10
