you would be forgiven - if you saw the trailer and/or read colin farrell on the cast list - for expecting this to be big pile of wank... but you will be pleasantly surprised if you get yourself round to watching it. quite a simple film in many ways, but charming for those very reasons. everyone gives a 'not bad' performance, there is a good level of silliness and there is a conscious lack of sickly sweet love boredom type nonsense.
