great skill and thought and foresight went into making this film. most of its success is due solely to the concept, but nonetheless brilliantly pulled off, convincing performances and a clever sense of disorientation for the viewer. this is superbly edited, and i'm not just talking about the dis-chronology. it's constantly noticeably good editing. guy pearce is excellent, as is carrie anne moss. the only thing i didn't get was the intricacy of some of leonard's self-done tattoos.
