there will never be a creature thriller film as good as this ever again. absolutely phenomenal film making here, from the first scene showing off the faultless, groundbreaking and believable production design to the fantastic performance by sigourney weaver as a resilient and brave space trucker forced into desperation and heroism. the whole thing is a masterclass of tension and anticipation, design and cinematography. and it has ian holm in it and he's my favourite.10/10
